# Anumati

> Space licensing, simplified. Your space authorisation, prepared. Every commitment in it, kept.

Anumati reads your mission profile, works out which authorisations you need, checks your application clause by clause against your regulator's rules (IN-SPACe today) and the international rules they bring in, and drafts the submission. Then it keeps track of everything you have just committed to.

## Why it matters

India is the first jurisdiction Anumati covers. Authorisation takes months, and an incomplete application takes longer.

- **75–120 days** for IN-SPACe to process a complete application, and the clock starts only once it is complete. Anything missing means a round of queries and resubmission first. Operators are advised to file about six months ahead. (NGP 2024, Ch. II)
- **48 hours** to report a change in management, control or shareholding, and 24 hours for an accident or malfunction. Obligations start the day you are approved and run for the life of the mission. (NGP 2024, Ch. III §4, §24)
- **Beyond borders.** National rules like India's bring in UN debris-mitigation guidelines, the Liability Convention and ITU rules, so a gap there is a gap in your national application. (NGP 2024, Ch. III §6, §11, §12)

## How it works

One mission profile, four steps.

1. **Describe your mission.** Orbit, fleet, disposal plan, spectrum, ground stations, insurance and dates, in one profile.
2. **See what you need.** The authorisation categories your mission triggers, plus the approvals outside your space regulator: in India, from WPC to the launch range.
3. **Close the gaps before you file.** Every applicable clause checked and every missing item flagged, so your application is complete the first time. Draft text leaves a placeholder where a fact is missing rather than inventing one.
4. **Keep your commitments.** A ledger of what you committed to, a calendar of reporting deadlines, and tracking against what is observed in orbit, from public orbital data.

Built for India first. Anumati is live for IN-SPACe authorisation. The method (a rule library, clause-by-clause checks and a commitment ledger) carries over to other regulators. Operating somewhere else? [Tell us where](mailto:hello@anumati.space?subject=Anumati%20for%20another%20jurisdiction).

**Worked example:** [see the full output on two sample missions](https://anumati.space/demo), an Earth-observation constellation and a launch vehicle with booster recovery. No data of yours needed.

## How it runs

- **Your workspace is yours.** Nothing you enter goes to anyone unless you choose to share it. If you want to show your insurer or broker that you are on track, you send the report yourself.
- **Any model, your environment.** The rule library, clause checks, commitment ledger and deadlines are Anumati's own code. Only the reasoning steps call a language model: by default Claude Sonnet, from Anthropic. For design partners it can use another model, or run entirely inside your own environment.
- **Alongside your counsel.** Anumati prepares and checks; it does not give legal advice or grant anything. Findings are hedged by design, and every one cites the clause it rests on.

## Design partners

We prepare your next authorisation filing with you.

- We run Anumati on your mission, under NDA, in the data mode you choose.
- You review every line before anything is filed.
- You tell us what was useful and what was not, and shape what Anumati becomes.
